Buddy Is Having A Contest… Of Sorts. WIN Entrecard Credits and T-Shirts
Ok, here’s how it works…
Buddy wants to start his very own Monthly Mile Challenge Club (MMCC). He loves his “walkies” so much, he wants everybody to get out and go walking too!
Participation is FREE. All you have to do is leave a comment on Buddy’s weekly MMCC post letting us know how many miles or minutes you logged for the week. Prizes will be awarded to randomly selected commentators using the randomizer. We will be giving away 1 t-shirt and a total of 300 Entrecard credits each week.
Watch out for Buddy’s MMCC post on Sunday’s. Comments received through 11:00pm EST Tuesday night will be entered into the drawing. That gives you two days to post your results. Only participant comments will qualify. Please, no spamments. It’s not like we’re giving away a million bucks here, so there’s no need to cheat!
A participant is anyone who gets out the door for a little exercise, whether you walk your doggie, or just yourself. Even if you choose to ride your bike, walk on a treadmill, or an elliptical, you’re welcome to join us. Just enter your miles or minutes for the week. There is no minimum. We want to encourage you to get out from in front of your computer, stop droppin’ those cards, and get a little fresh air and/or exercise. You can join in at any time during the month. The first week runs from Sunday, August 3rd thru Saturday August 9th. The first post will be on Sunday the 10th.
FIRST PRIZE - will receive the official “Heart Healthy Hounds and Humans” t-shirt to show off to all your friends. This and other shirts will also be available for purchase in Bud’s Online Super Store.
If you are selected as a first prize winner, you will get an email request for your mailing address so we can mail you your shirt. You will also be asked your size. The shirts are available in adult S, M, L, XL, XXL, and 3X. The shirt will be sent cheapest method (most likely First Class or First Class International.)
SECOND thru FOURTH PRIZES - 150, 100, 50 Entrecard Credits respectively.
Second through fourth place prizes require an Entrecard account to which we can transfer credits. Sorry, but credits cannot be substituted by another prize. If you don’t have an Entrecard account, you can register your blog for free at www.entrecard.com.
All Monthly Mile Challenge Club participants will be added to Buddy’s MMCC blogroll. If you would like to add us to yours, we’d appreciate it, but it’s not a requirement. You can add a text link to your blog, or add one of these nifty 125×125 ads to your sidebar.

Buddy would like his blog friends to help him promote his Monthly Mile Challenge Club. As a thank you, we will be giving 300 Entrecredits to each blogger who writes a post about Buddy’s Fitness News and this contest. You can entertain your readers by writing about your doggy or your fitness program, but you must include a link to this post to get the credits.
After you publish your post, leave the url to it in the comment section below. Buddy will personally review your post and the mommy will transfer the Entrecredits.

What great timing! I just started a power walking group here in my neighborhood, and we had our first walks last week. Now I can come here and log my miles!

I want a shirt!! If the randomizer selects me do I still get one, even though I’m Buddy’s grandperson???? (Just kidding - but my birthday is coming up in October. One with the stick man dragging the cat would be more appropos though). Walked about 2 3/4 miles up and down hills both Sat & Sun on my usual route. I also put in a lot of steps at work this week.
A few words to Monique - The temps in Texas have been about the same as Tucson. I find early morning temps survivable for 45 minutes. The wildlife at that time of the day is ‘interesting’ too (bunnies, jackrabbits, quail, lizards, roadrunners, javalina, bobcats and bears, oh my!)

@Sassy - the first official post is Sunday the 10th, so whatever you do between this past Sunday the 3rd and Saturday the 9th is what you’d leave in the comment section this coming weekend.
